Hmmmm...another day, another rain event. This one is expected to last the day and into tomorrow morning before clearing and a cold front passing through heralding the official beginning of Winter.

Today, It was hot and sunny summer day.

slightly less hot today, bright sun till about noon than the winds changed bringing the smoke from a large forest fire south of the city. rest of the day it was hazy smoke with the odor

It got to just over 90F today (so not too hot)...plus very low humidity
...oh and smelled like burnt wood (from the fire pellaz mentioned) - you deff couldn't miss that in the air

Has cooled off nicely outside...temp is currently 76F/24C (my bedroom is 92F/33C though)

the city south of here (Colorado Springs) is having a really BAD forest fire, they are saying 379 homes destroyed.

Denver is basically an island with a proper gay-bro and possibly over all more accepting. On the other hand much of the state is not. The main industry in Colorado Springs is military and Focus on the Family evangelical religions.
