I think I can relate to fear of the OP's motive myself because he does not make it clear that he is here to support LGBT people.

Reasonable Jeff your post does indicate an overt appreciation for loving values but it also could easily imply a covert agenda.

Either you have a logical process that can be depicted, or you are flame-baiting, and I'm concerned that you haven't responded to the previous inquiries about your decision that led to your arrival here.

I get what you're saying. However, the Christians that keep it behind closed doors are the ones that don't give a hoot about you.

As I Christian, I am convinced that life is more fulfilling in a relationship with Jesus. It would be selfish and uncaring of me not to share that joy.

It's not that I'm trying to force you to do anything....sort of like a great sandwich. If I eat a great sandwich, I'm going to tell all of my friends how good it is and where to buy it at...except instead of a sandwich it's the most fulfilling relationship that you could ever experience.

I thought about joining a Christian forum....but then the discussions would all be one-sided. Not a very interesting discussion when everyone already agrees with you. Also, I attend church regularly so I am able to fellowship with other Christians in that way.

My local vicar drinks lager in the pub with the guys, he plays rugby for the local team, he is the average guy in the street.
Yet the only place he talks about God, is in church.
That is why he is liked and respected.
