I like childrens but... I don't want them because growing up they may became person with a lot of problems.
I know I'm a little pessimistic...

I'm fine with being an eternal uncle. I have two siblings with kids, and another sibling I suspect will have a kid before he's 25. Plenty of babysitting opportunity to get a preview of having a kid.
•
If they don't cry, whine, repeatedly ask or say the same thing, don't break anything and, obey when told what to do and not to do the first time, so I don't have to repeat myself and, keep the volume down at all times indoors then sure, kids are fine.
The problem is I have yet to meet one that does as they should in my book so, they are barely tolerable for short periods of time and, I would not want to raise another one - made it with my daughter and, by age 4 she knew the rules and, opted to follow them rather than not be able to spend summers with me.

Kids are fine until I'm the only thing standing between them and their getting themselves maimed and/or killed. Or if they start thinking that they know things.

The only question I have when it comes to children is do I should serve them with potatoes or stuffing?
I don't find them cute, I do not find them adorable. Most actually are frightfully ugly.
If was on me to have to procreate to keep humanity going as a species I fear that humanity would be as extinct as the dinosaur.
I hear my biological clock tick once. Just once. It was the second most horrifying sound I ever heard. Thankfully it was only a momentary lapse and a truckload of alcohol cured that.
Woe be unto that child if I ever did decide to be a parent, woe be unto the world when that literal spawn of Satan grew up to take over the world.

I could never imagine not having children in my life having them or other wise.
I've volunteered at Boy's and Girl's club for the past 7 years i started when i was like 11 or 12 and i could never imagine my life without that experience.
And children is a must for the future I've wanted kids since i was in high school
