Cleaning up my past [Please help]

Why hello all you fine spiffy people First time poster here but long time reader!

I need some advice, The past 8 years of my life have been hell due to my own poor choices.
I have been going to consistent counseling and have my life pretty much where I want it.

The problem is now cleaning out my skeletons in my closet that I have left behind here online..

I have profiles on escort websites from many years ago... I no longer have access to the internet provider I was with in those days nor the email account information for the websites.

I have old online profiles from various meeting websites that I would like to remove.

Are there any tips people can give me for cleaning up some of my online skeletons?

Do you know the names of the escort sites? In that case I'm sure you could e-mail them and inform them of the situation so the profiles can be removed without you doing it yourself

I have some of them but don't remember them all off hand as it's been years... I just don't want these things to continue to effect my life in negative ways. Thanks for the suggestion that is a good option for me to try

I don't know if it's the same with these sites, but with some email sites, if you don't login for 6 months, they get automatically deleted, maybe they don't even exist any more?

That is a good point Marc and that is part of the problem some of these email addresses I used to sign up for some of these accounts are no longer active but unfortunately my advertisement profiles are still active when I search the internet.

Well, when you find one, contact that site and ask to be removed, explaining your situation. Most will remove or inactivate your profile in 6 months to a year if you are not logging in.

Can't you contact the advertising agency with your name and phone number to 'validate' you are the person who placed the ad?

Hopefully you didnt use your real name with any of these posts or photos.

But like the others' mentioned....you can either email the site and ask them to delete any information and photos connected wth your old email accounts.

And like someone else posted, most of this stuff is deleted after 6 months or so....if it has not been logged in to or used.
