Preparing for my night shifts, which isn't cool. Otherwise I'm doing well. Was out the past couple of night either with friends or with random people I met downtown. All is good right now. Smile

Starting to get a wee bit nervous with the upcoming 5th Dec surgery. I'm looking forward to it but still can't help to feel a bit nervous.

My surgeon told me that I will have to stay in the hospital for 4 - 5 days. The actual duration will depend on how my body reacts from the 7-hour surgery. But it will take one whole month to fully recover from the surgery.

The sucky part is that I am not allowed to run for a month. I'm only allowed to do light weight lifting on the third week. But I have to keep my body moving from day 1 after surgery to avoid blood clots. Yay. Time to prove to myself that I was born to be a badas* again.

Originally I've been given a one-month off without salary from my boss. But there's been a change of plan. I'm just going to take one week off instead. I don't think I can stay at home for one month 24/7. It will drive me nuts.

Bought an Iphone so I can 'tether' my WiFi Ipad. Crucial as I'll be in a noisy and boring ward for almost a week. Cramping my Touch to the max with music. Going to disturb all of my friends via Skype whilst I'm in the hospital.

Once I have fully recovered, I'm off to the second surgery. And then third. I hope I can settle all surgeries before mid 2012.

Then off to the actual full recovery.

Xandor Wrote:Wow, Jay, I'm sorry you have to go through this.:frown: But I guess its for the best. You're doing the right thing by preparing yourself and getting ready for the extended time off. I would. But at least you have your friends on Gayspeak to chat with whilst recuperating. Confusedmile:

Ah, well. It's life I guess.

Forgot to mention that I also take a lot of vitamins and supplements right now. Just to give my body a full boost.

But to be honest, this is one of the reasons why I went back and forth when it comes to having a boyfriend. So far I dodged several guys unwilling fully. I really, really, really want to have a boyfriend right now but my 500% focus and commitment should go to my surgeries and recovering from them. Ugh.

Oh well, again... it's life I guess. Need to stay positive, aye Jamie?

Xandor Wrote:As for me, I'm doing OK. I got a PM from James. I think I might try calling him today as he has the day off from his job, one of few that he takes.Confusedmile:

That's great Jamie! Do send my hello to James. Jamie, do you want my phone number? I don't know if it's useful or not. I call my good friend, Dylan who lives in San Diego once or twice in a month to say hi. I sound like a little girl or a female via phone though. Everyone said so. *Grumbles*

Jay Wrote:P/S: Bought my first Iphone. It's officially my first cellphone. Previously I use a brick Nokia cellphone which belongs to my dad. I used that Nokia cellphone since what, 2003? It still refuses to die. To show my respect to it, I use it as my alarm clock.

One week. Iphone. 2100 bucks. Gone.

My Iphone has been stolen right under my nose on yesterday's morning. In my own office. By a so called courier boy. I wish no harm to this kid but remember karma is a total bitch. Plus I have your ID (You jotted down your ID inside the security log book, dumbas*) and have informed the entire office building.

I worked my butt off day and night to earn a good income to buy an Iphone only to be ripped off by an uncivilized human being.

Yeah, I admit it was my mistake. I was careless. But still.

Anyways I had no other choice but to buy another Iphone since I cannot terminate my contract. It's a white Iphone though as Black is out of stock. Not really keen with the white one. But I have no other option.

My stupidity. Sigh.
