Jay, what's wrong with running? There is always something *sigh*

Feeling like a zombie, after the nice chat I looked forward to four hours of sleep, got like two because of an emergency...

Jay Wrote:Few months ago, I was waiting for an elevator in my office building's lobby to return to my office. I stood on the left side of a young lady. Few short minutes later, a guy joins the wait. He stood on the right side of the lady.

I saw him smile. But I didn't smile back as I thought he was smiling at the lady.

Few seconds passed. He leaned back, gave me an eye contact and smile.

Got it! I smiled back.

Last Thursday, I stumbled into him again. I was with a colleague of mine. He smiled at me and I replied back. I thought he was handsome but undeniably cute too.

Then I watched him walked away. I noticed he was limping. He hurt his leg.

I asked my colleague what to do. Should I go introduce myself and help him out. She told me to go for it.

But I froze. I was hesitant to approach guys after the last incident.

I hope I can see this guy again as I really would like to introduce myself. He seems like a nice guy. Please, please, please let me see him again.

I spoke to him

I stumbled into him today in the lobby. I just got back from Subway and he was about to go home.

He smiled at me. I smiled back and asked how he was doing. He explained to me what happened to his foot (He got hit by a van). We chatted a bit. I asked him to take care of himself. Amazingly I forgot to ask his name.

I was honestly surprised with how fluid I was when I spoke to him. I wasn't nervous whatsoever. Everything was calm and natural.

Eh, it's okay. I was annoyed for a few seconds but it didn't bother my whole day.

I think I'm going to change my running route again. I will go back to my old route.

Is it possible that he still works in the mall? If you drop by to the mall and accidentally stumble into him, say hi to him casually. Who knows where it will lead.

And let me know if you see him again too.

He does still work at the mall. I think I'm going to just muster up the courage and see if he's working today. I have to go to the mall anyways to pick up a B-Day gift for my mom. I have to keep it cool and not let this consume me.

Pretty alright, went through my childhood neighborhood before work, had an hour to kill . It does not look the same at all, now it just like a mental hospital garden. I find it funny that most of the million project areas (Expandment and renewal) has turned into gutters, Nyfors has always been a gutter but looking pictures of old Nyfors (60-100 years ago) it was pretty, now after the re-renewal (Rebuilding what they build 40-50 years ago) it just looks weird. I miss the old tower Sad It looked freaky but it belong there.

So many memories, good ones and bad. Got a bit nostalgic walking there, remembered when I was a kid and used to throw snowballs at the cars going over the bridge and just fooling around, but also when getting dragged into an alley getting punched senseless from those i considered "Friends". The little Arab deli still runs that I used to buy strange candy from when I was little. Still the strange smells lingers around in Nyfors, a weird mix of Arabic, Asian and Somalian sents, spices, herbs, perfume, something unknown and identifying. Was pretty pleased to see that they actually sold the cheapest Cherry coke in town, direct imported from the Us. Its pretty rare with Us imported cherry coke, as it taste different in Sweden as it contains substances that is not legal to produce and so has to change it for our market, not sure if its like that for all of EU although Tongue
Sometimes you need a bit of chaos in your life to be able to shrug off pitiful disdain about something meaningless.
