How are you today?
Mrmatty376 Wrote:I'm not catching your drift... >_> I'll add this to my "Aloe Vera" list. What's that you say? We'll Nick, that's a good question. It's a list of stuff that I assume are supposed to have some sort of dirty meaning behind them, but we're just not sure what that meaning really is. ALOE VERA!!!!!!

I see that we need to discuss that aloe again. Or better not

And that crap of mine? It doesn't belong to your list, it's my depressive mood swing. Sorry :frown:

Hmm, sorta glad but sorta sad. Happy that this doesn't get added to the confusing list that is the "Alone Vera list" and sad cause of your sadness. Don't be sad. Maybe you should get some....ALOE VERA!!! Hahaha
I'm not going to explain the aloe vera, nick. Just know that the context in which i used it in just now makes no sense at all. What so ever. Nothing.

Jay, is getting own apartment an option?

Watermark, I live alone by myself.

But I moved back to my parents' house temporarily due to my upcoming surgery. I'll be staying with them for a month or two until I have fully recovered.

Jay Wrote:Goodness, my mom and sister really frustrate me with their ridiculousness.

I bought one box of tea for myself the other day. My mom threw it away today without informing me. I didn't even get the chance to unpack it. It was still sealed in plastic. I asked my mom why she threw it away and she said because that particular brand does not have approval from the Islamic Society.

"You could have told me before throwing it away. I could give it to my friends instead of wasting it." I said to her.

"It's okay." She replied. Monotonously.

"It's my money ..." My blood was about to boil. I quickly walked away and went to my bedroom.

I love my mom but that was just plain rude. And stupid. Really stupid. Really, really stupid.

This kind of thing happens quite often within my family but this is the first time tea being banned in my parents' house.

Few years ago, my mom and sister threw away all porcelain based plates etc. because they fear of all these porcelains contain pig DNA.

Few months ago, my mom and sister threw away all plastic based plates, containers and bottles. Same reason as above.

On the next month, my mom and sister removed all photo frames from our walls because of religion.

98% restaurants and cafes in Malaysia have been blacklisted by my mom and sister because they don't have approval from the Islamic society.

Subway has been banned because my sister heard it is link to Israel.

I cannot wear anything that shows off my chest or any part of my body because my mom dislikes it.

A lot of Yoghurts have been banned in my house. One particular yoghurt from country A has been blacklisted because a newspaper from that country ridiculed Islam's prophet. "So you want to punish one whole country because of that country's newspaper?" I asked my mom. She changed topic.

And more.

Most of the time I do not even bother to discuss or talk back to them. They will say that I'm being disobedient. Then they will start talking about me behind my back. My mom will then talk about me with my dad. But that's not enough. She then will talk about me with her sister who lives nearby. And to my younger brother too.

Hence why I keep my personal life away from my family particularly my mom. What I eat. My friends. What I wear. Etc.

This whole thing is ruining my family but they do not see it.

I mean c'mon look at my sister. She doesn't have friends. Always stick to commenting on Youtube and Facebook 24/7. She doesn't go out unless with my parents. She's 30ish already.

My dad even asked my brothers and I if we can find a guy for her.

I don't like to talk about my family and personal stuff to anyone because I respect and love my family. But my god, enough is enough. I'm so sick of it.

You want to talk about living a true Islam way. Fine, get rid of TV. Cables. DVDs. Tell your daughter to stop watching Youtube. Ask her to stop being giddy when watching South Korean pop bands. Stop reading and watching tabloid stuff every single day.

I'm so sick of the stupidity, ignorance and hypocrisy.

Heavy.

I don't think there's even anything I can say to this, other than I hope it gets better for you.

It's situations like these that make me so grateful for what I have, but equally guilty because others have it worse off.

~

I feel pretty good today.

I'm going to the club again tomorrow Rolleyes , even though I don't want to be around Drunk people...

Being Carribean, I love dancing and what not, but Drunk people ruin it for me and I just want to go home. But I have to respect the "we go together, we leave together" rule.

We'll see how it turns out, but I have a suspicious feeling someone's going to bother me and get smacked... . Last time I went, a married guy hit on my friend and she actually danced with him!

Guys, even straight ones, have a tendency to bother me, wether it's touching me or talking to me when I say "leave me alone" or whatever. It was over 10guys last year!

Even though I honestly don't find myself attractive, people always tell me I'm pretty, but in a masculine way or just handsome and unfortunately, it seems to attract people I'm not interested in [I.E weird-o's who won't take no for an answer].

My Mom literally says I have to watch my Ass, because all the gay guys here like to take your virginity, and especially someone who looks like me [what does that mean...?].

... Someone save me Cry lol

I've got my list items ready
I'm taking my;
Water Bottle [cause I don't trust people]
Bag of Pretzels[Cause I love pretzels:tongue:]

& that's it Confusedmile: .

Other than all that, I'm pretty good. Not much else happening for me for a few days, other than Music practices  .

Hooray for Music Cheerleader2

Lord, I still have another two additional surgeries to go. So by all means I'll be moving in and out from my parents' house until at the end 2013 or 2014. So I have to suffer for quite some time.

Thanks for the hugs, Watermark. Much appreciated.

P.S: Sorry for my rant. I was really frustrated.

I'm not sure if things will get better. It will only get better if they are willing to open their eyes.

But yes, Odi. Be thankful.

Odi, people particularly guys can't resist you because you are pretty and attractive. Your additional super bonus is your attitude. It's charming. You make people happy and smile to their ears.

*tear drop*

I didn't realize I actually make people smile. I'm not so sure about being attractive, but something must be going on, so perhaps Confusedmile: .

I try to be thankful as much as I can, although I do slip up sometimes  . I just think about how much worse off I can be.

Your a very good person Jay. Even under your circumstances, that's not something a lot of people can have said about them, even Cyber-ly[is that a word?].

Here's a pretty Rainbow;
