How are you today?
Called in to work on my day off, wish someone would just nuke the fucking flu or at least make people stand in line to get it and not just infect all at the same time. Things would just run a lot better if I was at the helm.

Now I'm soaking in a hot bath with aromatic salts and numb from the nose down after a dentist visit and sipping a hot coffee and in a 'dare you to talk to me now' mood, as my Area Manager found out 10 minutes ago Smile

P.S. I don't get the flu, the flu is for pussies Wink lol

I think it's raining season in here. It rains unexpectedly from time to time.

It wasn't raining when I left my house for work on last Thursday. So I didn't bring umbrella to work. It wasn't raining outside when I was in the train. But it was when I left the train. It was raining heavily. Cats and dogs.

I sighed. Here we go again.

So I went to a convenience shop that is located inside the train station to buy an umbrella. This would be my fourth umbrella. I bought all my umbrellas due to the same reason. I didn't bring umbrella because it was raining unexpectedly.

Once I reached my office, I checked my Whatsapp (Skype/MSN messenger like) on my phone. My other colleagues were trapped in traffic jam.

So I had a great idea.

I made a short ad video to try to sell my new umbrella to my other colleagues that trapped in a traffic jam. I sent my video to all of them.

The hours have passed by and it's felt like I've done nothing productive at ALL today xD.

Decided that I was gonna write today but instead I've been listening to music all day and chewing gum...ooh yeah..XD

Nervous, scared, worried, pensive...
Sometimes you need a bit of chaos in your life to be able to shrug off pitiful disdain about something meaningless.

Overfilled...

I've never learned so much outside of Music before, and jumping into Animal Medicine, probably wasn't the best choice lol Disoriented .

But I oddly love it.

Before working at the Zoo, I never had an interest in Animal Medicine, just animals, but after working with some of the animals there who have small malformations and deformities, I've taken a surprisingly avid interest.

Crooks, our Male Galapagos Tortoise has a Cleft Pallate, a deformity of the facial structure, though not life threating.

Mo, one of our 3 Radiated Tortoises[who themselves are somewhat endangered in their native Madagascar] has a growth on the side of his face, which we believe is an infection of the ear, though it keeps coming back after treatment.

One of our Ringtailed Lemurs, nicknamed "King Julian" by kids who visit[due to the show/movie Madagascar], had a rash on his arm, which is now bandaged.

I have no clue as to why I care so much... but I do, and I probably annoy our resident Vet, cause I ask so many questions and want to know everything... lol.

I've been reading a book on Animal Medicines and have learned a few tricks, such as;

Amitriptyline - is basically an anti-depressant for animals who suffer from anxiety or seperation issues and even agression issues. It also can help humans with Migraines and curbs some Schizophrenic Symptoms.

&

Amitraz - Is an insecticide, used to relieve animals, such as dogs, from fleas, ticks and mites, though cannot be used on horses.

It's so complicated, but so fascinating... I can't stop reading.

I have to work mainly on the diagnostic side of things, actually associating the medicines, with a disease, through observation and analysis.

I love it! But it makes me go Disoriented lol.

Not at all like Music! Roflmao
