A dance show.It's one of those artistic,dance poetry sort of things as it combines the two mediums.He told me it was a kinetic representation of a few poems,chief amongst them,Prayer Before Birth and Death Be Not Proud.And he wears a weird short skirt but I'm not complaining!My baby has been practising non-stop,just want tonight to be perfect.And if I don't get laid tonight,then I give up!

Today it hurts to swallow and its drivin me MAD.

I had that not long ago... was like it for just over a week... and it didn't even feel like it was IN the throat but more to the side... like in one of the glands or somewhere. Throat sweets didn't help one lil bit.

WOOOOOOT! I am bloody hyper and bloody excited and bloody bloody happy tonight!!

I got myself a gorgeous car today. A T reg metalic effect fiesta - it has the sport dash that's white and glows green at night :biggrin: and it's so bloody nice, it's coming tomorrow morning.

On TOP of that, my gooooooooooooorgeous guy is currently on a plane on his way home after sending me the sweeeeeetest "i love you" text for when I finished work. Love him sooooo much and am just too excited hence why I am awake at 2.30am when I have work at 8am :biggrin:

I think it'd be something that needs discussing. Both people in any r'ship may have differing views of what they want to happen. Persuading him to go for it when he's not ready may mean the r'ship won't be forever lasting, and the same could be said for the flip side, if he makes you wait too long.

As to the actual question whether a r'ship can thrive without sexual intimacy... I think I would say no... but then again, that could well just be my sex drive talking! Remember... I've never been in a r'ship with a guy yet... and the two r'ships I had with girls were both non-sexual (first lasted 9 months, second just a few weeks).

I think a relationship (as opposed to a friendship) can survive without sexual intimacy, but that such a relationship would be unusual. I suspect it may be even more unusual in younger people who (if memory serves me correctly ) may burn a bit more brightly.

What often turns out to be difficult, though, is when the aims and intentions of the partners in the relationship turn out to be different. It may seem noble to sacrifice one's needs on the altar of love, but in the longer term most of us need the affirmation of mutuality.

I would second wlm's suggestion that you might do well to consider having a talk about what you both hope for ... as far as you understand it at present. Relationships are dynamic and today's needs may be different tomorrow.

Fwiw, you might need to abandon the "being subtle" thing. Any straight woman would confirm that most men can't take hints.
