I'm not bad today... tired, but otherwise ok.

Weather's been really mixed... started out quite chilly... been having varying amounts of rain... at this very moment its warm and sunny!

Its my first day back in the office after 6 days in Tuscany, so I am a bit fed up !!!
Spent all morning dealing with 60 boring emails :frown:
Then all afternoon I have been trying to motivate myself into doing some "proper" work but not having much luck.
In between all this we had a fire drill................. luckily it wasn't raining !!
When I get home the dog will need walking and we will probably get soaked as my timing isn't very good Confusedmile:
Anyway as the total optimist.................tomorrow is going to be a lot better.
Got my lawns mowed yesterday when I got back from the airport, so that made me happy
Ah well better get my nose to the grindstone again........................

Coz the NUT teachers in our school stayed at home for the day, I got to go round my friend's house and beat him at monopoly and talk about guys all day.

I agree wil! Ian was off on strike too so we spent the day in London. We planned it REALLY well as we went to the O2 arena first, then to canary wharf when it was chucking it down. Then we got back on the jubilee line to waterloo and went for a walk along southbank. But by the time we got to waterloo the sun was out. And it stayed out for the whole walk back to tower of london. So we had a lovely walking day out in London - and then we went to the cinema and then we went for a drink.

I'm now listening to the avenue Q soundtrack coz it's bloody hillarious.
Hope everyone is well

Sounds like many of you had an ok day... including you, Clontarf!!! lol. haha. Anyway I was on airport duty today again. I've been on airport duty for the past two weeks. One day it's taking 'em there, one day it's bringing 'em back. I'm beginning to know it like the back of my hand. All's well in Spain, so I hear, except the weather which was poor, dull, raining most of the time last week. Apparently they haven't had it so bad in a long time. I remember though that is was quite wet in May last year, just before we arrived so the fields were absolutely drenched with poppies. A very pretty sight. So glad you lot were not "sunning it" in Spain last week. Aren't you glad, Neil, that you weren't there instead?!?!?

Monopoly is the king of board games!!

Today I feel pretty good in myself, although a bit sickly in the stomach. Don't think I'm coming down with anything tho... just overfed myself at lunch.

Leaving the gym till later tonight.

We should start up an online monopoly game and see how it goes... I bought the pc version once but do enjoy the physical pieces.

What game piece do you all like? I would have to choose the "iron" piece.

My day was sooo stupid (as I knew it would be). My Liver Guru wants to put my health issues onto some other field of medicine. He had me see an endocrin who I had already seen 1.5 years ago. She had already decided that I didnt have any endo problems then. She entered the room saying she was glad to see me but wondered why I was there... I left with no answers or tests done with 3 hours on the road. So stupid.

Now I am exhausted out of my mind but enjoying the peace of being at home.
