How are you today?
Solomon Wrote:Oh, it's pretty boring, working in an office, doing type ups, phoning people for appointments, that sort of thing. Nice bunch of people though, which is important and it brings in the money. It'll do till I find something better.

You sound like an asset to the firm, so I hope you do a good job there...

I don't think so...It's an asset to have a good looking young man dealing with that upfront, you know, especially if he's as welcoming as you sound... so never mind that the job is boring. YOU can make it interesting.

Smurlos Wrote:Awwww I feel for ya! I need to take my laptop in while its still under warranty to have the dvd drive sorted. It randomly pops open and tries to load etc. of its own accord. My wireless keyboard/mouse also have a mind of their own and decide to type random letters etc. so I can't use them at the moment :-( But indeed, good luck franko!

I'm laying in bed, thinking the sky looks wonderful, counting down the hours til I meet Ian for lunch and wishing my nose would stop running!Confusedmile:

Thanks Smurlos. Better hurry before that warranty expires. Now working on my old Dell desktop which doesnt have any of the bookmarks I use in the evenings so trying to remember where I usually go Scatter

Got the MacBook Pro lappy ready for pickup and called it in. The driver arrived pretty quickly. He was a tall cutie with shorts on showing off nice legs.Wink

I was suppose to cut another lawn but my 82 year old father cut it instead so I was looking around for something to do all day. Went to the drugstore to pick up new meds then came back home and wondered what I could do.

Still wondering Icon16

CONGRATS Solomon. Must make you proud of beating all the others that applied.

Ooh well done seth, hope it all works out for you! Office work is often the first rung of the ladder - it gives you all the basic experience you need for a whole range of industries.

Aha Frank, so do you have a cellar? Am I right in assuming that this pickup guy is now locked away down there for eternity? hehe

I have a basement. Rather new move-in so the dungeon hasnt been completed yet... Need to reinforce the ceiling for the swing Rolleyes The big decision will be - Where to put the cage? Probably going to go next to the washing machine Rolleyes

So I had to let this pick-up guy go... but there will be more repairs of that I am sure.

Congrats futureRD. Tell us all about your new postition.

As for my day... another freezing day. To add to the trouble I am prescribed a new med which I took for the first time last nite. Woke up with stiff/sore leg muscles that didnt go away for a number of hours.

Off for watermelon now even though it is freezing outside Icon16

Today I'm tired, got work in just over an hour, waiting for a reply from my guy and a bit sad I won't see him til after 8 tonight as he has a family meal thing to go to *sobs* but we're gonna go watch a film at cinema Confusedmile:
