How are you today?

Neighbor called saying I MUST cut her grass today (but it is still really wet  ). BIL gave me his enormous mower & I got it done pretty quickly and it looked great. What a monster of a machine!

Is it the sort of lawn mower on which you sit like a tractor???

WOW had a cool weekend, went to a carshow with my Campervan (its a very quirky TINY campervan only another 15-20 the same are still in exsistance) managed to win 3 trophies 1 for the best modified car of the day, another for 2nd place in the '3 wheeled manovrabilty' driving contest and I also got 3rd place in the manovrabilty contest in a 4 wheeled vehicle but no trophie for that one. Then the overall one for the most points earned by any single person on the show. (points being awarded for scores gained during the events i.e. car of the day and manovrabilty contests)

The drive home was pretty rubish due to the strong side winds meaning I coudnt do much over 50mph as the campervan was being blown about so badly, but it made it back fine. Its the longest run ive done yet on the new engine 200 miles each way. Its almost ready to do the John O Grotes to Lands End trip im planning to take part in this summer.

and for Smurlos this is my Summer fun car! Its only a 1.4 I coudnt afford to buy, run or insure the 1.8 Tubo version lol

As you can see ive got a thing for wired and wonderfull cars, both of these are made by Reliant most famous for the Robin 3 wheeler!

No. That would be overkill for the size of lawns I do. BIL is using the neighbors sit down mower. Lots of land where he is.

The one I have is an automatic & really powerful. I use it on mesh. If some part of the grass is higher it has some sort of auto power setting and really revs it up. It is even somewhat overkill for the smallish lawns I do. If I had my health I would be happier with a decent push mower but this is borrowed one is very appreciated now.

congrats on all the wins malcs. Do you have a lot of other trophies?

The campervan is so cute. Would love to see some pics of the inside...

Did another paying lawn and my parents. These two have a tiny bit of a hill and the monster mower was way too heavy to do the hills - scary it was gonna tip over. Glad to get them done before the rain started but napped two hours after.

Ate some fresh tomato and corn... love the summer foods. Watermelon coming soon...

Haha cool stuff malc! I'd post up a pic of my car, but it's not really special - just your average 1999 fiesta - the only thing I doooo love (and may take a pic of) is the lovely dash board hehe.

I'm on top of the world today.
Spent a fantastic weekend with my guy, he stayed over Sat and we watched Sweeney Todd. Usually I have my arms around him, but he had his arms around me most of the night this time, was niiiice. We fell asleep half way through and woke up when it was finished - and it was chucking it down with rain lol. And then we booked our holiday to Florida for March 09  on Sunday! Can't wait!!!!! *excited* Am missing my guy loads and we're both really skint now, but it'll be worth it!

Aye, that it was! Had a lovely weekend, although worked both day shifts and it was sooo busy due to the poor weather, but seeing my guy at the end of it all makes it all worthwhile. Miami, wow! I told him we'll have to go down there for a day or two while we're there - never know might bump into horatio caine Laugh, but shall see as I'll bet the time will whizz by and won't even get half the stuff done!

"Win a heater competition ..."???!!!

I really want to say something appropriately silly, but I'm stuck for words, so ... er, congratulations, Dan! May you become a finalist!
