Well I's a bit tired I went and sat out by the beach and smoked up with my supervisor from work. That was fun and has become a bit of a ritual that we do when we close up at the end. It's nice.

God I can't believe how much cake there was today. There was a two-tiered chocolate cake in the shape of a Greek temple, a plain chocolate cake with ganache and also I brought profiteroles. I woke up at seven to fill each one with creme patissiere. o_o

Don't blame yourself...no amount of naivete on your part excuses them for their lying.

Not good. It is just so hard to accept the fact that hatred in humanity is as irreversible as love, greed, and sex. I've held onto to hope when giving thought for the morrow yet I have to give myself reality checks and count the misses as much as the hits. Hope is nothing, and when I look at the trust I have in the future, I realize there have been more misses evidenced than hits. Thankfully, our evil species will die with the heat death of the universe, probably eons before then dieing with the sun.
Sorry to be a morbid, but, typing all that actually makes me feel a lot better and smile. I can't change someone who wishes I was in jail for who I love and what I believe in, but at least I'll be enjoying my time in the sun while I still have it.

Irritated. I´ve been fighting with some sort of “redirecting” virus and a Trojan-thing the last two days! But apparently everything is working now (until my Norton anti-virus trial version expires).

Read up on some of the freebie anti-virus pc stuff... they say most are just as good as they pay for.

If you are able to save up I would highly recommend looking at a MacMini refurb. They are difficult to get but the price is great and they are the Apple work-horse! For a bit more than $500 you have a small, quiet and really great machine.

So far there has not been a real virus/attack on mac users (fingers crossed). We dont have those obnoxious nearly daily updates that Microsoft comes up with... and if you have a question about something about mac then it is pretty easy since everyone is using the same system.

I was worried buying extra apps would be expensive but there are so many free stuff out there it is great.

If interested go to the Apple Store look for the refurbished tab and see if there are any MacMinis. Dont bother with the servers, of course. You can use your own monitor and keyboard, mouse.
