I don't really understand how they could do that, it's very cruel. Just from talking to you on this site, you seem like one the coolest people I've met. I hope they warm up to you, or at least come to accept you - they might be in shock. I know if my mom has a response like that when I come out to her, which I'd bet my life on that she's not going to, I would be devastated . Hopefully they stop acting so awful soon.

I am HAPPY today. I visited a lady my aunt takes care of at the hospital, which was boring, but it had it's funny and happy moments. I got my best friend a place to live --- a room at said aunt's house, so she won't have to live with her alcoholic mother any more, and I'm prepping for a trip. I'm in a great mood .

Today is amazing, this past week has been off the chain spectacular, the bf and I are getting on famously, finding out how much alike we really are (it's unfuckingcanny), and where we can support each other at home, went to a beer fest day today, heard a bunch of souvenir glasses break, went to Mall of America, I've met some of his friends and they all like me so far, even the ones that are just getting used to the bf coming out. So pretty bloody good.

Actually no, their kneejerk reaction -- and the flagrant ignorance that spawned it -- is disgusting. The shame is on them for failing to support you when you, their own flesh and blood, really need it, just because they don't care enough to rid themselves of some ridiculous misconception that you're choosing to be gay.

And what the hell is this whatsapp thing? An excuse for them not to have to call their little brother disgusting to his face?
