Dad is worse today than yesterday. His vitals are real low and the nurse said he's declining but we already knew that. The "adult side" of me is ready to let go and let him pass on but the "little kid" inside of me doesn't want to lose his daddy.

Thank you meg. I'm holding in there. Just having to learn to let go. It helps knowing that I have people like you all and my friends and "family" to support me through this. I can't express in words the gratitude I have for all of you right now.

Tired and hurting. Just came back from the emergency room in hospital being treated for kidney stones.....the pain from those are the most excruciating thing I have ever felt. Still hopped up on morphine from it

Having been through the twice in my life I fully sympathise. The first time was many years ago and morphine wasn't offered then and I bore the pain for 20 minutes before the doctor gave me something. The second time three years ago, I still had to wait for the morphone but boy, was it welcome when it came!

I'm so conflicted about this community service thing.

All the students are doing it for the wrong reasons, and everyobody, even the teacher seem to be fine with it.

I feel like I'm exploiting the weak elderly just so I have more chance at scholarships o_o

But then again, isn't it worse not to do it...
