How are you today?
Studying. Gosh, today was probably the first time I refused to go out with my friends to a bar this semester.

I think it's quite worth it, right? Future investment, I think.

Ack! Nicky...and Daddy too Sad

You guys know I'm sensitive, so I can't stand when people fight, if you recall the Inchante Incident...

Like Danny said, we're here collectively as a community and bickering is fine, but insults and cat fights are so ugly. I've had people I didn't vibe with either, but y'all probably didn't even know, cause I didn't let it out.

And not cause I wanted to be Politically correct Nicky, or sweep anything under the rug, but because I respect people here enough to not let them see what they probably see on a daily basis. People come here for fun and games...alittle slutty flirting (daddy *giggle*), advice even, but not to read someone's arguements and animosity...atleast I don't.

And Nicky, I've never pretended to love or not love anyone/everyone, I do, you know this already. But love doesn't mean just letting someone get away with a wrong, nor does it mean ignoring their wrongs, so I do let a gurl know, but doesn't mean I don't love them.

Respect them less maybe, but love them none the less. It's how I was raised... i'm sorry Sad

Odi, it wasn't meant as a criticism of you. I just think that if they feel that they need to talk about something and yes, there can be reasons why to do it publicly, they should have a chance.
I don't think I said you pretended to love everybody.

I admit I am not here for fun and games. I am grateful that I can interact with real people, the ones I can't meet in my "real" life. Real people argue, I don't mind that. That doesn't mean we hate each other.

At my work, everyone is nice to their colleagues. But the talks that constantly go on "in the backstage" are terrible. So, after this experience, I think that sometimes an open public talk can be good.

All's good, Odi. Smile

What perplexes me is just how internet drama can occur at all. I mean, sometimes discussions I'm in can become very heated, but actual "I can't beliebe you did that to me" drama...

This is a forum. With few exceptions most people are on here to talk, meet other nice members, chat etc. without ever interacting with anyone on here face-to-face. Once again, with few exceptions, members on the forum will never actually meet each other. With that having been said, why would you care enough to let drama grow? I mean, I have no right to dictate what people should or shouldn't do but when you log in to see stuff like "I can't believe what <random member> did!" and "He's avoiding me in the chatroom ever since our fight" and people taking sides in cyber-quarrells I feel like something is seriously messed up. THIS IS A GOD DAMN FORUM SAVE IT FOR YOUR ACTUAL LIVES O_O

^This, the whole thing is sorted as far as I'm concerned.

I don't believe in staying quiet when I think something is wrong, and replying to that post was the only way I was going to get any kind of a response.

I even speak up in the workplace with everyone, I'd rather get their attention so that we can talk things over then let it settle and build up into something stupid.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Smile

These people are incredibly dramatic although not in a confrontational "in front of everyone" kind of way. More like emphasizing problems that aren't problems, somehow managing to include me in things that shouldn't be my business and just... never managing to get over things. I'm not sure if I should respect that that's just the way they are or oppose it. Fuck, just talking about it makes me feel all teeny and repulsive :o
Ok I know what u feel my two best friends, they are the first I came out to that's how much close I am to the is. Decided to go out, ended horribly they can't stand each other. We are all in this small group if one hears that the other is going they won't come. It's mainly on the girls side in this train wreck, she constantly bitchs and insults him. And he broke up with her in the nicest way, in person because alot of lads I know do it over the phone and after are summer tests. My advice is to tell them to shut up, fake a smile and warn them if the say anything at all they can leave. When they know ur on neither side and want it to end, they don't bring it up
Hope it helps Dogrun

Had to work this morning but went over to some friends house for a swim in their pool and some "adult beverages" afterwards. It was really nice and a good way to start my "weekend." Fit a book I have to finish for book club by Tuesday and really need to have my lines for the summer musical memorized too. But not worried about either of those right now.

I'm in such a good mood that nothing can bring me down today not even my great aunts, trying to start a fight because they have nothing better to do.
