How are you today?
I'm pretty good. Tired as hell, but that seems to just be commonplace this past week Laugh

Anyways, I just made the call and I GOT THE JOB! Kind of... sort of. What she said basically was "there are always periods when we need to take in more people but right now we're doing fine with the staff we've got. I'll give you a call once we need you and after summer break you can proceed to work evenings/weekends if you want to".

I'm so happy! Big Grin

Hey, that's great news! Congrats Confusedmile:

As for putting your fist thru this jerks face....now your'e sounding like me!!! LOL

Those feelings and emotions you have from the sick people at the hospital are the exact ones I have for lazy slobs who cant be bothered with basic manners when it comes to stuff like that. We got "into" this once on another thread, but you've just given yourself a prime example of how I feel when ANYBODY is like that in public places.

Fuzz

I believe you said that sick people coughing and sneezing without covering pisses you off. It doesn't piss me off, it horrifies me (slightly) and leads me to worry over sickness and leaves me feeling 'unclean'.

I wash my money, coins in a bleach and dish soap and water, with minor soaked followed by a rinsing and drying. Bills being made of cloth paper survive rather well a full washer cycle. Unfortunately they don't come out nice and fluffy no matter how much fabric softener one uses...

OK I am not THAT bad when it comes to germs - I am aware and if I do handle money I do make for a toilet to wash hands.

I do carry wipes for emergency purposes, or visits to hospitals. Yes I know intellectually that my chances of picking up a contagious disease isn't much higher at a hospital than any other public place since hospitals are always being cleaned... but still being in the environment does make my a bit more disease aware.

The greed thing does piss me off - a lot....

Don't know why but all of a sudden I'm really missing my dad. Nothing happened to cause it, it just hit me like a ton of bricks. And it's not like I've never lost a loved one before. But this time it's just different. It still just feels so unreal sometimes. Like a really bad dream or something. Does this feeling ever go away?

The feeling will fade with time ,but how quickly it fades will depend on you.

I've have not lost a parent, all I can really do is offer you my sympathy. I imagine that those moments will never completely stop occurring, but hopefully you can take that to mean that you were lucky enough to have at least a decent relationship with him while he was alive, and in those moments find the strength to turn your sorrow into gratitude that you were able to spend what time you did with him.

I feel strange today, slowly starting to realize my errors in the way I ve been carrying about myself the past year. I neglected myself and my needs way too much. I need to focus on me a lot more. I need to get a grip Wink

Being super productive at work for the rest of the week will help Wink + vacation coming up!

Thanks guys. My relationship with my dad wasn't always the best, but over the past few years we had grown closer. My coming out last year did kind of set things back a little, but he and I had worked our differences out before he passed away. I think some if not a lot of it is that he was the only one in my "birth" family that didn't badger me about my sexuality. He may not of liked it, but at least he and I could talk face to face without it coming up or making things awkward between us. Fortunately, I have found a new "family" (close friends and you guys as well) that accepts me for who I am.
