I had three massive brain farts today... I completely and utterly forgot what I was doing as in I stopped dead still in the hallway on the way to the laundry room completely blanking on why I was on the way to the laundry room. This happened while cooking dinner as well as on my way to the Landlord's house.

First time, was to like um, remove the laundry from the dryer (doh)
Second time was to get dinner out of the freezer - Well that ain't that bad.

Forgetting why I was going to the landlords home - to you know, fix his lunch and give him his insulin.... Something I have been doing four times a day since the end of July... hello.

Before today I've never tried a group job interview, and I hope I will not try it again.
I'm upset cause the recruiter was asking us some questions, supposed to receive one answer from each one, with an order, but at a certain point a guy in the group started answering to everything. And obviously then the questions to the other of us has became more difficult.
I wasn't less prepared than that screaming kid (and probably even someone of the others felt the same), my only weakness, was being an educated person...
At the end he did the best figure of the group, but gosh, was a job interview not a game.
More, this guy was Italian like me, the reason why I left Italy...

Sorry to hear that, but I'm afraid, sometimes in the job world being asertive (that is, being rude) is well received, cause bosses can think that you're more proactive that the others and they like that...

of course it sucks, I myself I'm often quiet, polite and educated, like yourself, and other guys with more personality but far less talent and far less efficiency always look better appealing to the bosses..

crazy world is the one we live in..
