How are you today?
Today is only 2 hours and 44 minutes in, but it's going very well and I'm happy, although I fully expect that to come crashing down.

I could only wish for a 40+ day with low humidity. I lived in Sydney in 1994 bushfire season and heatwave when we got a local temp of 47c, 5% humidity, no power, no water, no telephone, and no roads in or out of town open for 3 days...just surrounded by bushfire...ahhhhh...the memories.

Here we haven't had temperatures more than 31°C but boy fires erupt every week.

it's fairly dry where I live, sure, but some of these fires have been very very big...*frowns and scratches his head"

Since I have been outta work, I like to get out early on Sunday morning and collect plastic bottles and aluminum cans, but its been too cold lately. If I do go out collecting I have to wait till it gets warm, and thats usually around noon, and all the traffic is out.

Have not been able to go to my favorite collecting spot since its been so freeking cold....cause I HAVE to do that early in the morning. So I guess Im waiting for spring to go there again.

I remember that heatwave Daz ,I was pregnant with Jess just 11 days from having him and was living in the Hunter-Vally at the time in Maitland ,I swear I lived in the above ground pool ,and then the Bushfires started if I remember right they started in Sydney and it only took them 42 hours to hit Petes Ridge and a further 48 hours to get to Toronto ,where my sister lived.

Those winds were unbelievable the sky was so dark with smoke the sun looked red.
None of us thought she would jump the ridge so quickly but she did.

My sister was evacuated as her yard backed on to the bush, thankfully nothing got that close.

Anyway Today I feel like a kid again took Jack for his run at the river Abby didn't want to go ,I found a Mulberry bush mmm...mmm... yum so I had a few it brought back memories ,my aunt in Victoria had one and we kids used to raid it lol.

Today was hella lazy..

Although last night when I was out with friends a guy chatted me
up. We ended up talking about his trip to the Philippines and what
he did over there. We also talked about dancing and a few other things.

He was really cute. And really sweet. It's weird how stuff just
come out when you're really passionate and interested in each others
conversation. Haha, we even showed each others photo's from both
our trips. So cheezy!

We exchanged FB's.. Haven't added him yet..

It's nice to know that my guy-talking skills isn't as crap as I
thought it was ;D
