CardShark Wrote:I've been working for 3 months now, and I should have a review soon.

I'm praying to god to get a raise (or a macbook which my boss KNOWS i want one) I'm happy either way!
I've proved I'm worth the money, and I've taken a lot of work off people hands. so bring on the macbook!

I'm going to be absolutely devistated if I dont get a macbook oh or the raise.

Methinks your review will go swimmingly. Fingers crosssed...

Pertsonally i had one of my year abroad meetings today, and have my applications handed in and all nice and ship-shape and allsorts. I'm doing a semester in Santiago de Compostela, and a semester in Vienna.

So excited....

Thinking I should start to panic. At the last count fifteen are coming to supper this evening ...

I'll clean, tidy, prepare and cook, but I cannot magic up floor and table space; Albert would never find anything. Why don't French schools give their teachers office space? We now have enough chairs and plenty of crockery and cutlery, but nowhere to put them. Whatsmore, "Madame" is back in residence downstairs and I only how to say "orange juice" in Spanish. Yes I think I'll start to panic.

Seething at my bank and a new fun game they've made up. Apparently I made a single keystroke error in accessing the account online whilst in France this week (easy to do on a keyboard where many of the characters are in different places and the letters on the keyboard have been rubbed off the keys, forcing one to poke about somewhat blindly) and now I have to go through the whole rigmarole of setting up the account from scratch again.

Come on, it wasn't me who made a fuss about the chairman's pension

Ignore them. Bunch of bankers...

I have a horrifically powerful attraction to 'fit german guy', as i call him. He has a name, but i refuse to call himj by it, i think my description of him is so much more fitting than an actual name. I've started Operation Shag Fit German Guy. Its basic aim is to get me into a position where i can have sex with fit german guy, by any means necessary. Including getting horribly drunk and throwing myself at him (or Operation Last Resort, as it's more technically named...)

Wish me luck boys... Wink

Not possible when they make the rules. Had a great e-mail message from Albert's mum about a 98 year-old woman who decided to treat her bank the way they treated her. Urban myth maybe, but it made me laugh.
