Had my performance review at work today. Was basically just me sitting in front of the admin manager getting told how wonderful and brilliant i am and what a valuable member of staff i am and how fabulous my continued existence is for all. I asked if i could get put up, and apparently the position i would've got before doesn't exist anymore. So i got asked if i'd like to go for the lead associate (our version of team leader) position instead.

Started making new appts with new docs to pick their brains.

#1 Pharmacologist who has many other alt background... she suggested I also re-establish contact with the acupuncturist - an ancient Korean surgeon who last suggested that Western meds had poisoned my system too deeply for Asian med to work...

Office messed up my appt but got to speak to the doc and make new appts...

Got back on my silver Pista and hoped the rain would go away, it would warm up for the clothes I was wearing BUT NO... Thanks Mr.Weather...

Thinking the only way to stay warm is to give it my all so made it to the park and did a fast lap... Got back home and the sun starts coming out

Mateys perfect timing pings me with dripping wet clothes still on... lovely chatting... lovely napping...

Lol tis not final yet, but i don't even care. I don't want the position THAT much, it's recognition i was after, and heck did they give me it :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

As for the other bit, ermmm... I can't think of a non-colloquial way to describe it, so it's maybe best not to. You can rest assured it's nothing of significance.

In addition to my previoius post, i was rather frightened in work today. I was on break (it gets scarier) reading the Daily Express (scarier still), more particularly the feature written by Anne Widdecombe (scarier still) and i actually found myself agreeing with some of the things she was saying!!!
