Thinmking i am over the worst of the swine flu. Still vomiting all over the place and coughing the nights away but i'vew onyl got a day and a half of anitvirals left and i'm actually sitting up rather than lying in bed. Good times

Found out today that one of my freinds calls her boyfriend 'mon petit chouchou'. Anyone else find that a kinda creepy petname, once translated...

Chouchou means someone's "pet" or "favourite" (like teacher's pet) it's not really a creepy name to give someone. More a term of endearment... Nothing to be alarmed.

On another note, I'm glad you are getting over that nasty disease, Soxy... Good health to you. Make sure you drink plenty of water to replace missing fluids (if you can) and to refurbish missing vitamines.

Nono i'm quite aware of that. Really what i meant was that petnames are, as far as i'm concerned, creepy by their very nature and have been consigned to the same disdain i give to PDA (and that's as in smooching in public rather than the handheld computer). People are more than allowed to have relationships, i just think a little decorum really wouldn't hurt, especially as i'm so PARTICULARLY bitter and jaded for my age and seem to have more in common with the thirtysomething women in the knitting circles i go to than with twenty year olds who're so blithely convinced they will last forever.
