I sliced my thumb open cos i sneezed while i was chopping an onion and a bit of onion got stuck in it and it was excruciating, and it's still stinging nearly three hours later and it keeps reopening and bleeding again and i'm convinced it'll get infected.

Check my awesome sentence, with its needless length and awesome tautology. Tautology is my new favourite word.

Oh and i did i mention OW, MY EFFING THUMB!!

I am amazingly lucky to have such a great hospital near me. I also have had great docs for a couple years now so very lucky there too.

All hospital staff is very friendly and professional with light hearted joking all around. But when things got serious everyone was really on the ball

All went amazingly smooth. An MRI was used over 10 times to make sure all was properly aligned. Three snips and nearly no pain... then the forth snip kinda made something go wrong inside. After analyzing it all I think it all went psychosomatic. I got very ill and lots of things felt real bad but the staff was amazing and I felt in good hands.

My main doc was in the hospital and he made the decision to morphine me up so after that went in EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I still had the pain but didnt care After a couple hours I was pretty much back to normal... nearly pain free and ready to sleep, eat and leave

I was let go about an hour later than promised so not too bad for my first psychosomatic emergency :redface: [/COLOR]

Frank - happy your ok now, sounds like you have very thoughtful doctors and nurses that take care of you.

Im finally feeling 80% better after the flu - finished the course of tamiflu tablets yesterday and just been for a short walk in the sun..first time outside in 6 days, cant shake the headache though, but hopefully it will go soon.

Well since i got up on sat morning at 0700 hrs (Zulu) i have managed to sleep between 0430-0615 and i got a snooze at 1300-1350 today. Was a long shift that finished at 0900 this morn.... Been out on bikes after got up at 1400 hrs i am physically FUBAR and am away to watch the last 6 episdoes of Seaon 1 of lost....so should get to bed at about 2am!!! LOL
