How are you today?
Good luck there Topher.

As for me, looking out the office window (love saying that I have an office window in my home) and wondering if the rain is gonna end, get stronger or just fuzz like it is now...

Got a new doc appt and gotta leave real soon.

Might be some new experimental surgery in my future, but probably not.

Thanks; there are usually over 50,000 people taking part in the great north run, most of whom are doing so for charity. What an amazing thought, to imagine how much has been raised altogether, for so many good causes! And of course, the meal was delicious

My stamina and recovery time was pretty impressive but I am sure that if you were to start slowly you could mess up those hills of SF. I must say that I impressed myself whenever I made it up the hill I lived on. It was the final leg of a world class marathon.

I might have crawled on my hands and knees but I slowly got to the top Rofl

Lets not talk about my insane return to jogging... lol.

It is hard to prep for a marathon of the length ya did. What is your usual routine?

LOL, that's determination! I have been preparing for this since the start of summer really; I try to run at least every other day all year round, however for my preparation proper I had been trying to gradually increase the distance. I had already done 13 mile run and a few 10-12 mile runs in the last few months. I find that nothing fully prepares me for the real thing, but that confidence of having a half marathon already under my belt does increase confidence!
Good luck with your training!

Hey Andy,
How did the job interview go? Did you get the job? Or have you had another one since that interview?
Good luck with it in any case, Confusedmile:

Sitting in the shop, eating a bowl of Mac & Cheese before I go hit my rack. Was going to go out to the Sandbox and get a bite to eat/surf the internet on my laptop, but I don't have anyone to go with and I have no monies.

Well, I have been on here much so lets see:

I feel completely drained because I hate my job. My parents are somewhat separated (still married but living in different houses), but trying to do the back and forth thing is stressful because I don't want one to think I'm favouring the other. I have no energy to deal with the shit in my life, and I wish I could just make everything go away (at least for a little while). I feel so misanthropic that I cringe everytime I have to leave my apartment.

It just feels wrong, everything feels wrong at the moment and I don't know what to do to make it right.
