Another Update:

Just had dinner here a few minutes ago. Setup some beds for some family members staying at my place. Me and Babe cleaned or part of the house incluging our room. So not much else.

Went to a varieties of English class today and was shockied by how horrifically accented the lecturer's english was. In spite of him saying which region it was he was imitating each time he just sounded like a foreigner trying (and failing) to communicate. Also got rather riled when he called Scots a dialect, when it's clearly recognised as a language in its own right.

However i did find the fact that the course doesn't include or mention Wales in any way rather humorous, don't think the Welsh guy i went to the class with approved much though...

Good times That course is like 9 free credits

Think I am going to faint from over working...

I have this great master handyman... He is helping me get some things done with the house.

I thought we were going to redo the bathroom floor so cleaned up that area and removed everything since I wouldnt be able to use if for a couple days.

My guy arrives and takes a better look at the bathroom floor and decides the wood is not good enough to refinish...

Sooooooo we move to the next job: refinishing the downstairs flooring. This was totally unplanned. We had to move all the furniture to one side of the room then cut that carpet and remove it then move the furniture all to the other side and cut carpet... then take up the padding and remove all the nails and staples.

It already looks amazing but lots to do... and now I am off to move as much of the furniture and STUFF upstairs or in the garage so we can resurface and finish the wood.

God give me the strength.[/COLOR]

Ah, just have to get through work today then I'll have a lovely drive home looking at all the trees with their changing leaves so I can spend Thanksgiving with family. It'll be quite nice I must say.

Yesterday I told Dale that I did too much and needed to rest. He understood and I took my nap. I woke up two hours later and Dale had finished sanding the floor. He didnt use any electric tools but only his hands and sand paper. Really amazing. And for all this very hard work he only charged me $50 - HAND SANDING A WOOD FLOOR

Just now we are putting down a finish to make it all shine. Already beautiful but cant wait for the finish.[/COLOR]
