Yep, that's it.

I had three. Now I have four. I just don't know where three of them are. Irritating.

In the search, however, I did find my tenor.

I used to have a couple of recorders - kept from 4th grade music class. Not sure where they are now either. Two harmonicas also disappeared. Small wind instruments seem to have a way of falling into wormholes.

I've kind of wanted a bass clarinet for a while. Those are so cool. Prohibitively expensive though, unfortunately. Clarinets in general are awesome.

20 days away from the gym and wow it was hard work today - the step machine is the devils work - how women can chat together while on that is beyond me, I can barley breath on that thing,,,,but I get a real sweat on so it must work

Didn't you say that you have asthma, Matty? That would complicate things. Me, too, but I am going to try the recumbent bike this week.

Never been tempted to try a reed instrument, Miles. I used to be better at recorder than I am, but have not played much for the last few years. Little devils can take some breath!

I was always pretty bad at recorder - I could never quite keep up in music class then, I didn't start getting my stuff together musically until a few years later. I remember a brief experience with tenor sax in 7th or 8th grade that I really enjoyed, but you're right about the breath - reeds do take some bellows for lungs.

Very very very busy day. Went so quick. Now I just want to snuggle up with someone and fall asleep. Sadly snuggles are in short supply round these here parts. Rolled-over duvet it is! zzzZZZ
