How are you today?
Excited. Now I've got my provisional driving licence, things are just snowballing (in a good way), with my first lesson next week and my theory test a couple of weeks after that. I had a mini practice for the first time in a friend's car yesterday in a car park, it wasn't scary, just strange I think because for so many years I thought I'd never be in the driver's seat of a car. Also I'm going to have to really train my brain about the clutch and pedals - I'm not the most co-ordinated person to start with, and I'm very knee-jerk in my reactions. I didn't realise how lightly you had to tap the pedals, another thing I'll have to get used to.

Another thing I'll have to get used to is budgeting. Being single without commitments of any kind except rent has mean I've been spending money like no tomorrow, but driving is expensive... I'm saving like mad Smile

Finally I put on a load of weight over Xmas and managed to shed it so yes, feels my very happy right now which is nice after that awful mood I was in last month. Thanks for everyone who put up with me moaning :p
Gossip is the Devil’s telephone; best just to hang up.

Had a good day, spent the day wondering along the Dorset coast with my flatmate. An incredibly beautiful stretch of coastline, with many rocky coves and some very striking and interesting rock formations/cliffs. Puts Somerset's poor excuses for beaches to shame! Was a pretty foggy day too which made it very atmospheric Smile

Sorry for the double post, but I needed to post somewhere and couldn't quite think of another thread currently. I was talking to this guy named William on POF, and I know most people on those sites are playing games and that I'm ugly, but he seemed genuine. We exchanged a couple of messages, and out of the blue I tried to reply only to find out I was blocked by him. As I said I know I'm not that good looking, but instead of just out right blocking and ignoring me couldn't he have at least said something like sorry but your not my type or what I'm looking for? I would have even settled for lose some weight and get lost. Sorry, that just depressed me and I feel pathetic for it.

Bighug Bighug Bighug

There really are some rude douches on the internet Sad. And cowards, who think that rather than being diplomatically honest and messaging you with one of the things you said he could have said, think it hurts you less by just ignoring/blocking you. Or they just don't care. It is depressing Sad
