Today was a nice day.
I spent hours in the gym to train my back and also a 35-min cardio, which specifically tailored for my upcoming 10k long distance run in August. I was miming, humming (quietly to myself) and waving my hands whilst I was running on a treadmill. I'm sure others thought I was a weirdo but it doesn't matter. I had a blast.
My injured left leg wasn't feeling itself that much today so my Deadlift was a bit awkward. But I was still able to carry heavy.
I recently purchased my first car but unfortunately there was a problem with the installation of tinted glass on it. There were bubbles on every mirror. The car dealer apologized. She said it was raining after the installation was made. I told her it's okay; just fix them for the glasses for me. So she took my car to the car's workshop and watched my car like a hawk for several hours. She sent progress pictures of my car via Whatsapp. She then sent my car to my house.
Today I went to see the car showroom to pay for the tinted glass. But before that, I stopped by at a donut shop to buy a dozen of donuts for the car dealer to show my gratitude. She was pleasantly surprised by the donuts.
"How did you know that I haven't eaten my lunch?" She joked.
I grinned.
I always believe that if you show respect and gratitude to people around you, there will return back with respect, appreciation and more.
Few hours later, I received a Whatsapp message from the car dealer. She sent me a photo. It was a photo of every staff (of the car showroom) and herself posing while eating my donuts. She typed, "Thank you from all of us!"
Made me laugh a little.
I would love to share the photo but I have to respect their privacy.
p/s: It's not a selfie. It was extracted from a silly video that I made.
