[MENTION=23145]valkyrie4488[/MENTION], I often think we need to have more old fashioned town squares. People used to wander around them and do a little mild socializing while taking care of errands. My grandfather and his crowd had a meeting place in front of a shop downtown. They would walk down there after supper and sit. Never said anything. Just sat. Perhaps you could find a coffee shop or a bar or a place to just sit and sip iced tea. Take a litle walk getting there and enjoy the change of scene. Might help.

PS: One of my favorite bars in the whole world was a place in St. Pete called the Chataway. It was a real dive with a couple of ratty pool tables and nothing but beer and coffee. You could get a beer and go outside to sit under a sprawling tree in an old yard chair with your feet up on a low branch and sit for hours. Great place. No agenda.

Very true, we could use more old fashioned town squares like that and that sounds really peaceful as well as a good way to ease your mind and soul while socializing as you said. I agree that does sound like a great place, I will look into local coffee shops or places here in Lakeland that may be like that. Thank you, I appreciate it and your help. Also, something interesting happened today. I was at the store, and I was wearing a black shirt with a rainbow on the front that said under it "Celebrate Your True Colors". It was an LGBT oriented shirt, and this older gentlemen in his late 50's or 60's walked up. I'm 6'4 and I'm guessing he was around 5'9 sense he only came to my chest, but I hadn't seen him walking up at all to my surprise. I was pushing a buggy so my arms were up on the buggy, and he patted my right arm a few times softly as he said "I like your shirt." a couple of times. I thanked him, and noticed he had an arm bag like a purse as he got in the check out line behind me. It just put a smile on my face, and reassured me and i wanted to share what happened.

Feeling burned out by the sun, i went to Liverpool today. I spent 4 hours in a art gallery, went to a gay cafe in the gay area.

Work load is up to the roof, but I'm managing. Making the most out of my weekend to rest and regain energy.

Very tired, woke up for work at around 06:30am, and done a full day in work and got home at 22:30pm so i did a 14 hour shift in customer service.
