I've spent the majority of my time being single and a few flings, some dates and something that looked like a relationship a couple times. All I know it is better to be out of a bad relationship and not to fool yourself like I have. Very easy to do, but I am getting better at it I think. At any rate I think your friend is right, there are better guys out there for you. However, for me I have to convince myself I am worthy enough for someone else and sometimes that's tough for me to justify.

Today I woke up and thought 'enough'. So I went on Grindr and asked this guy to join me in bed. He was tall and muscular in a beefy kind of way, and his tight rugby top hinted at a light dusting of dark chest hair. This proved correct when he arrived and I soon tore his top off and pulled him up to the bedroom as we kissed each other forcefully and passionately. We quickly lost any remaining clothes as we ended up on my bed and proceeded to explore each other.

Oh who am I kidding. I woke up this morning on my day off with a fever, then proceeded to load the washing machine and vacuum the house. I've prepared dinner for when my housemate comes home later and now I'm exploring Netflix to find something to watch in bed.

Ffs that would do me fine, I'll have no anxiety for a month, because all I would be thinking of is the love making with the rugby player lol. That fantasy was quite a nice and relaxing though lol..

I told him that he's behavior is childish. But he said "you're the childish one" I thought to my self -_- really?

Today I noticed he doesn't realize that I'm actually done with our relationship. He wont say hi or goodbye or anything, he did say goodnight yesterday but I ignored him. But we do talk, and when he is talking he still talks about "we should buy new furniture or we should put a fence around the house etc.. and when I said I put my couple parrots online for sale (we both have a hobby with breeding parrots) which he replied "why would you do that" and I said "what else should I do with them" and he said "breed with them where they belong!" Meaning I'm not going anywhere so no reason to sell everything..
