I did the same thing Saturday... I jumped frantically out of bed at 5-30am.. staggered to the shower and turned it on... Then thought... "Oh you idiot..!"

Must have been the short week we had... Ok.. I am searching for an excuse here.. lol Rolleyes

All that snow has melted thus creating a river under the ground... I dont mind the grass but hate the trimming.

Mmm, A storm. I haven't had a good storm in a long time. Possibility for a tornado. I'm sure I'd think otherwise being torn from my house.

My morning is good.

The winds have been strong but no where near tornado speeds... about five years ago we had something that might have been called a weak tornado... it tore up some huge trees in our lovely park. Pretty wild seeing a root ball as big as my small house  but that was just nature taking care of itself.

The weather in Japan was probably the most frightening. The typhoons would come out of nowhere... A really sunny summer day would suddenly turn deadly wild with whipping rains! Add the earthquakes Poke2

I worked in, at that time, the tallest building in Asia. It was built on rollers so that it would roll during THE BIG ONE!!! Well, this sucker rolled in a slight breeze. You would get sea sick at the rooftop cafe. If there was an earthquake during working hours an announcement came on making sure everyone knew they were in the safest building on earth... I just wondered which direction to run when that thing started rolling down the boulevard!
