The drive over was pure hell... Pittsburgh is always and forever under-construction and getting lost is part of the "thing" to do... plus we got involved in horrible traffic and got lost three times.

The good news is that mom looked a lot better than what I expected. She cant communicate much but is conscious. Havent thought much about the later stages of but this really brings it on.

The ICU staff was just amazing with the main nurse spending at least an hour with just us and really focused on taking care of all our questions and concerns. We were assured that none of this would have been done if the docs werent sure that mom wasnt gonna pull thru.

I didnt stay as it was pretty obvious that mom wasnt gonna be moved to the next therapeutic ward for at least another week so maybe Pittsburgh next week... time to save up for sushi dinner [/COLOR]

im buzzing but tired - back from my festival with mates and had amazing hot weather apart from 1 rainy spell....... loads of fit looking guys in just shorts n bare chests out in the sunshine, can't ask for better than that :biggrin:

I played a local festival on Sunday and was very excited by a friend's band. Superb musicianship, brilliant singer and the whole set consisted of songs by Free. I hesitate to call them a tribute band, because they were a lot more than that.

feelin sorry for the england footy fans cos they were poor in todays world cup match but very happy cos a few mates say they want to come to the sonisphere festival in august - really want to see Rammstein, cant speak german but their live show is second to non..

i miss that live chat area too on here - the new box doesnt seem to get used much - at least not in the way we could have rambling conversations leading to any subject

You can pvt chat or create chat rooms by clicking on the chat room window at the bottom of the page if your browser shows the right buttons, but it is as flaky as hell. :frown:

Pvt seems to work okay in Firefox, but Opera doesn't show the same options on the screen. I haven't been able to use IE for months.
