colinmackay Wrote:Seriously... it is the height of the tourist season and they stick roadworks on there?! It's bad enough with the masses of caravans clogging it up for mile after mile!

Anyway, it is a lovely drive this time of year.

Shattered after a very good gig tonight. Gear all unloaded, I'm spending a few minutes on here to wind down a bit more ... actually I really turned the computer on to see if PA was here. Oh well. Remybussi

Why?

I can think of many powerful organisations and régimes the world could do without, but I'm really struggling to think of any time that I may have revelled in the "utter destruction" of anything. "Utter destruction" always results in innocent victims. No doubt I've missed the point - not unusual where sports and games are concerned Wink. Where could such immoderate language come from , I'm wondering?

The English football team were outclassed, not even a visually impaired linesman could help them with an excuse that they should have won really, but you make it sound more of a war than a game - and a civil one at that. What's that about

Oh, is that all? You began to have me worried. From where I am England looks almost the same as when I woke up, not at all utterly destroyed. I thought what I wrote was pretty clear
