How are you today?
@Insertnamehere It is crazy, we here in the sticks have, for the most part, been lucky, but the cases are on the rise. Did I mention they're opening schools? For in-person instruction... Yes. So, I fear that, some of my co-workers, students will start an outbreak at work, despite all the measures that have been taken. While I don't work at a K-12 school and there will be a big drop in the number of student on campus, still worried. Parents were basically given a choice on whether they want to have their kid to online instruction, both or in-person only...

So yeah, doesn't look like it will end here in the US anytime soon. Now Trump is trying to sabotage the US Postal Service to try to prevent mail-in ballots. Absolute madness, all while people are cheering him on.

As for today, I just got up. I've got to quit doing this to myself. I have to have some sort of dairy problem... So went and got a milkshake last night, again, thought it was early enough to not be a problem...wrong. Woke up with reflux and vomited...Not fun. Likewise, I normally don't get sick but dairy for some reason, specially, causes reflux. I can only assume it is some sort of allergy to dairy.

Decided to block the person I went on the one date with after they stopped replying to me. Removed them from Plex as well. So yeah, the mood for today has already taken a turn for the worst, hopefully that will change. Maybe coffee will help.

It will. It cures all ills. Janeway bet the Borg with it.

@InbetweenDreams yeah, we can join some sort of pathetic-pandemic-handling support group or something. And drown our sorrows in insert-psychotropic-of-choice.

What pisses me off is that even here, third world and all, there was a good chance at containing the damn virus back in March. But it didn't happen and we are where we are.

Anyway. Tis close to 7AM and I need my sleep. This was purely me having a drown-your-worries-in-alcohol moment, but I'll be back to my normal contained self in 3.......2.........

I don't know what the hell is going on but myself and two other family members have had to go to the hospital this week. Everyone is doing better now though.

I bought some nice Himalayan salt lamps. I'm already noticing a difference, and I don't want any of you to ruin my placebo!

I'm going to try sleeping with it dimmed tonight. Hopefully it'll help me sleep.

If it works, makes you feel better then great--who cares whether something is a placebo. Whatever the case they look cool. I've thought about getting some sage and try a smudging...

I'm doing well today, meeting a friend for a social-distant dinner.
