How are you today?
A little update on my life. Sorry for not being around much. My mom's cancer came back and she will be having surgery at the the end of the month. Lot's of doctors appointments and trips causing me to not have much time at the moment.

My health has vastly improved though over the last year. (Type 1 diabetic since 13. Last A1c was 5.8) also lost some weight. Hope all is well with everyone!

Being a geriatric old fairy my old body is falling apart not to mention I’m becoming dotty (Australian for senile old git). Sadly I’ve had to find a new GP. My previous one, usually clinically very astute, had lost the plot. He appeared to have had some form of breakdown and was making no sense at all, prescribing drugs that for me were just plain dangerous and having huge mood swings.
He’s been so excellent over the years I followed him to a town over an hours drive away.

I’ve now got a new GP who’s ten minutes away. She’s brilliant but only works 2 days a week. Her associate though is available all week. Both have more degrees than believable .
Most importantly they both have great senses of humour. So, although it’s been sad seeing my old GP fall apart I’m very lucky having found two to replace him. A downside is how good looking the male one is. Being a sucker for men with red beards I find it hard to concentrate on what he’s saying. However, as one of his degrees is in psychiatry he knows how to manage silly old fags like me .

Cancer SUCKS. I'm glad she has some help. I'm now caring for my 79 yo father and it ain't pretty for real. That's a great A1c dude! After nine years on double insulin I've been off that nasty drug since 2016. It has vastly changed my life forever living the TII. As for posting...meh...do what you can and it will be okay brother.

I think I need to get a new GP myself. My longtime Doc left suddenly without warning and the "privacy protection" in the practice was obnoxious and offensive. Well now, the new doc is so nice to look at I have a hard time behaving at every appointment. Luckily I only go every four months. He's salt and pepper. A red bearded, psy trained, GP...hmmmm sounds yummy.

I am weary about doctors, definitely have to have a balance of them being knowledgeable and being able to get along with them...

I have created a homemade plum gelato that is so delicious I believe it's only a matter of time until the universe disintegrates to balance this overly positive cosmic energy.

Why did I immediately fantasise licking plum gelato off your naked form?

Chase meet universe, balancing out your ecstatic plum gelato vibes.

Unless the tick was full of blood it hadn’t bitten you yet or would have been still attached sucking you dry.

Or found it’s allergic to plum gelato and laid off the sucking.
