But I came out to my other American co-worker today. I have been working w/ him for a year and a half. This kid is ... THE most socially awkward person I have ever met. Exhibit A:

I tell him i'm gay, we're alone for a minute at the bar. He takes it really well, like "cool.. okay!... Yea I thought maybe you were." Great.

I go on a little bit more, like "you know it doesn't change anything, sorry i waited so long to tell you, etc." Then, as if to return some sort of favor to me, he goes. "You're really good at spanish... like your accent and everything."

Um.. WHAT?!?!?! ...

We were not talking about spanish ... or IN spanish.. or ANYTHING. this kid is just so socially inept that he thought it was like.. his turn to tell me something....!??!?!?! It was bizarre, but I can't say I was totally surprised, cuz I know him well. I just laughed it off... lol. I was as confused as you probably are reading that.

right now, i feel bored an a bit irate. i've been doing the same routinic thing here at work since last week and i swear i was unaware that one whole week have passed since i started on this specific work task. i wish i'd be working on something new here cause i feel like my life is so redundant, every single freaking day since last week.

my boss says until march 11 or at least the task is completed whichever is shorter. you're right though, it's not like this is going to last forever. hopefully, something new will pop up.
