I agree with dfiant.

Bisexuals are just people who cant commit to their own true feelings, for whatever reason.

Bullshit my friend.

That is all

It really has nothing to do with commitment. If I met a woman and committed to her i would still be bisexual. I simply wouldn't have sex with men, I may still find them sexually attractive.

Would you ever have a relationship with those female works of art? Or do you feel nothing for them in a sexual way? Because I do.

I feel the same way about men, human works of art. But also a sexually attractive, i have been with both, I like both.

SolemnBoy Wrote:It's unnecessary to drag the whole thing up again, but please realize that your statement is the reason why bisexuals in some cases find it harder to come out whereas people assume it's always easier for them. I consider myself bisexual but predominantly attracted to men yet at some point I decided to just call myself gay because of annoying people who claimed I was just too scared to come out as gay or that I was straight and did it for the attention. Things like that hurt just as much as full-on homophobia would. Just letting you know.

I don't know why this became a debate about whether or not I exist. Or about my sexuality. I never thought it would turn into this kind of argument. It was really a question about being bisexual addressed to bisexuals. I Never asked fir the crap about what sine guys think about it.

I thank you for your first response, I am sorry that this thread became a "what I think is absolute truth" type of thread. Never thought I would get that here.

I'd like to add the proponent of Effeminancy in gay male culture to the list of offensive things verbalized within this community.

Everyone suffers and I take no sides in this discussion, however believe everyone equal in their beliefs, including Daddy, who by the way has long since left, so I do not see the relevance in which people continue to drag on his last couple of posts and degrade him when he isn't even here to defend himself, however knowing him would give less than two left fucks...

It's become slightly redundant.

Everytime someone mentions "Fems are this and that", you don't think I'm offended? And it happens a lot here.

But either or, I just believe this discussion has become repetitive and monotonous. :|

I don't believe in bisexuality, I don't believe it can exist.

I believe in monogamy and while I believe that a person can have an attraction to either gender at various times, it does not make them bisexual, it makes them human.

My ex identified as Bi in our 13 year relationship but he was a virgin when it came to the opposite sex, so he was homosexual and the bisexual label was just a convenient way of appealing to bigotry by saying 'I have a BF but I still like girls', but during our lives together before and during the relationship (We grew up 2 houses apart), he never showed any attraction or interest in women.

This is where the thread went wrong. Defiant, i like you, you have given me some of the best advise. I appreciate you. But i dint see how this is related to my thread.

I don't agree with you. but being that three topic of this thread isn't about whether or not bisexuals are real our if you believe they are. I was really wanting to talk to bisexuals about these feelings that i don't know but doubt you have had. Perhaps you have i am not sure. But likely nobody will ever convince you otherwise so i will not try. I know you were only voicing your opinion.

I agree, it wasn't supposed to be this same old argument that never goes anywhere. I just wanted to talk to some people about bisexuality perhaps some others share my frustration. I will miss defiant. I hope he returns.

I don't care fir the labels myself.

I tend to ignore the posts when they are made by someone that clearly doesn't understand my sexuality. It gets nowhere. I just wish it didn't dominate my thread.

Thanks fir the apology, not necessary, I know the frustration, i simply moved past it. Many of my friends have suggested that i am confused.
To be honest i am, what do you do when both genders do it for you? Women and men don't want to date you fir fear you will cheat on them. So i typically lie. It's easier. Sad that i have to be ashamed.

Everybody tells me I can only be this or that, that is what confuses me because i am nether and both.

I don't care fir the labels myself.

It's inevitable a discussion will lead to an Arguement, this much is plainly evident, but it's the manipulation of discussion and how well you can work it, otherwise it's just petty, meaningless bickering. Similar to Intelligence, you can have all of it you want, but if you cannot apply and wield it adeptly, then it becomes naught but things you know, but can never manifest or articulate.

To Talk about Bisexuality,Sexuality, or any other sensitive and/or controversial topic will garner an Arguement, as it attracts very different opinions, but how such opinions are stated and percieved will result in the outcome of the Arguement, in this case ; Repetitive.

As are many Discussions here, because not only does history tend to repeat itself, but because Repetition is the minds way of ingraining information or to relive, even vicariously so, a memory or experience for whatever reason, in this case; comraderie or understanding and perhaps a lack thereof.

I also believe labels are both important and detrimental, yin and yang, because without labels, identification of both self and others becomes difficult, if not impossible and as most animal species, we require identification for our socio-idiosyncratic lifestyle, as social creatures. But with labels, we tend to either get the short stick or the long stick, again like animals, example, Alpha and Omega (and Beta) and run with it.

So being called a Fem does not bother me, because it's what characteristically I'd be identified as, but stigmatic applications to this, is something as an Empath and deeply cognitive individual, do not agree with.

Similar if not the same as you wanting to be seen as a Bisexual, for characteristically, you harbour an affinity for both males and females, however to be reduced to being restricted to one or the other through stigmatic opinions, offends you, i.e- being with a guy makes you gay for that period, or you aren't truely bisexual if you are monogamous, because monogamy requires attraction to one person(and consequently one gender) at a time, which is what Daddy was trying to touch on.

However, it is logical to say Bisexuality cannot occur where Monogamy does, as in essence, dual attraction defeats the meaning of Monogamy, but an important factor to note, is that monogamy does not rule out sexual orientation, so you may be with a male and know you still like women, but until you act on that, you are monogamously Bisexual, but to be Bisexually Monogamous is a contradiction in terms, which is what Daddy I think tried to articulate.

Again, I really am Neutral, because to me, everything and everyone is equal, so do what you need to and be who you know you are.

Sexuality refers to preference, not number of sexual partners.
