So why all the hate on obese people? I noticed it being a trend in almost every single post made here. Sure over eating is a choice but usually it stems for much further than just "over eating" and not exercising enough. Its common knowledge that most people's overeating habits stem from some emotional distress or feelings of being out of control so they control the one thing that they can control which is the amount of food they eat to make themselves feel better. You would think a community that faces some of the same type of discrimination wouldnt show such towards others in their personal lives.
How would you feel if someone put down "all gay people" on their list of undesirable traits? Maybe those "fat people" are trying to fit into those bicycle shorts so they can feel just alittle better about themselves instead of using food for that feeling. So that they can go biking and try to lose some weight so people dont make fun of them for being overweight and in bicycle shorts.
If you want people to understand and accept you and where you are coming from first you have to understand and accept that tehre are going to be other people out there not exactly like you. Acceptance is a two way street. You gotta give it to get it back.
