At what point is something DEFINITELY gay?
#1
This is something I've been kind of curious about because I'm learning that a person's sexuality isn't always so black and white. Someone could still be straight even if they do things most would think are very gay. Me for example, I've found myself really enjoying gay porn recently. I get off to the stuff and I keep thinking to myself "This is coming out of nowhere. All this time I thought I was straight, but maybe I'm actually bi." But in another thread, I mentioned that even though I seem to get very aroused by gay porn, there really has never been a time where I felt attracted to a guy in real life situations but plenty of times with girls. I was then told that getting aroused by gay porn doesn't necessarily mean I have an attraction for men and doesn't mean I'm bi, which really surprised me. I mean, it's gay porn. Guy on guy. 100% man and 0% woman, and yet I get a hard on real quick. But I was also told that porn is porn and it's meant to arouse people and it's possible to get turned on by something you don't necessarily want to be apart of.

So I started thinking of more extreme situations and I wondered, exactly how far can you go and still be straight? If a guy loves girls, but kisses another guy and enjoys it, are they still straight? If a guy receives a blowjob from another guy and enjoys it, is he still straight? If a guy gave another guy a blowjob and didn't think it was that bad, is he still straight? Like, at what point is he no longer straight and just in denial?

Let's say there's a guy who's always loved girls and has slept with quite a few in his life time. He also has a really good male friend who he's very comfortable with. So much so, that one day when they're both horny, they decide to give each other blowjobs. They think nothing of it and just felt like they helped each other out. Are they still straight or does the fact that they thought of it, actually did it, and enjoyed it mean something else?

Here's another one. What if there's a guy who's always loved girls, but his experience with a lot of them have been unsatisfying because he's unlucky and ends up with girls who are bad in bed. So one day, he befriends a gay guy, they become close, and the gay guy mentions how men know exactly how to please a man, because they are men. So the guy curiously tries intercourse with a guy and thoroughly enjoys it. So from then on, he starts seeking out men for sex because from his experience, they know what they're doing better than women, even though he's still attracted to women and usually doesn't find himself ogling guys like he does girls. Is this guy still considered straight?

I know I have an "interesting" imagination, but I'm really curious.

There's like a hundred different types of gayness.
I don't think anyone can be 100% gay cos you gotta have a bit of yin in yang
Of in that conclusion I don't think anyone can be 100% straight either.

yeah your right the word is homoSEXual - heavy emphasis on the sex.

Thus if a guy jacks off to gay porn he is 100% all the way a homosexual and not a straight guy who has played with his dick so much watching porn to the point where he needs something more extreme to get off...

Rolleyes.

Look - two penises touching is not gay. Its just sex. A penis doesn't care who touches it, it just wants to be touched.

What makes a man gay is his over all attraction to other men. SEX is not attraction, its just sex - a momentary pleasure which clearly for you is not a matter of intimacy and is not reserved for that one special person who you are sharing yourself completely with. For you its a way to push your happy button and get momentary pleasure and clearly you can do it with either me or women.

While sex is part of sexuality, sexuality is not all about the sex.

If you don't understand that then I feel for you.

I don't exactly know at what age I started to realize I was different but I was around 13 when I was online playing some games and "accidently" stumbled upon some gay porn website. All I knew was that I liked what I saw. haha then at 16 I knew I was gay. At first I was ashamed because of how I was raised so I tried to hide it but after awhile I realized that I had nothing to be ashamed of and was proud of who I am.

I don't know at what point something is definately gay, but sometimes gay sex is definately not. I'm thinking about coercive sex in prison, for example, where both partners are straight by orientation, but have sex by force of circumstances. If there's only blokes, then blokes it will have to be.

It's only gay if the balls touch.

Well, in my opinion, you can say gay, if you see 2 guys kissing each other when they are dating because they are either gay or bi. Plus, if you do get aroused by watching gay porn, you might be bi. I would like to say that, everyone what bi, just the degree of how much you are attracted of either sex. I have 2 best friends who are pretty much straight girls, but likes to mix it up sometimes.

There is no "gayness meter", there is only the level of denial at which you hide yourself from yourself.
You either are gay or you are not......anything else is dealing with different levels of denial issues.
