I have been "expelled" in the past but I think the admin gave up on trying to keep it that way.
The others weren't though, they're simply trying to escape the constant arguing that some of the other members love to react to and therefore fuel the fire.
Basically the reason I got into so many arguments that got me "expelled" was because whenever I posted anything nice, interesting, or non-inflammatory, it would get very little replies, but as soon as I insulted someone or disagreed with their opinion the flame war could last for HOURS!!!!, and I was only there to be entertained.
