Iceblink´s choice is really a weird one, but it reminds me of Röyksopp by Poor Leno
Madonna on the other hand these days is musically so awful, that I can only listen the mash up remixes. "Old" Madonna I still enjoy like always, but after Hard Candy album I just fed up with that woman somehow...
But above all I I still find that 80´s sound most closest to me.... like this CHARLIE G - Love Plays Tricks OOOOHH MY GOOODDD !!!!!!!!!!!!! (plus ABBA of course)

I don't have a specific genre but I'm pretty much 80s and 70s crazy. Mostly rock is my thing. I'm really stuck on 70s classic rock and crooners.
As far as artist on my mind:
Grand Funk Railroad
Boston
Kansas
Heart
Sinatra

Just to name a few.
