How long will an average sexual intercourse take?
I know porn videos always show 20 to 30 minutes but I know it might not be true in real life.
And in particular, how long does an average anal intercourse take?

If you mean from when penetration begins to orgasm... for us 20 minutes to maybe an hour or more sometimes, depending on what mood we're in and how much free time we have.
If you mean from when penetration begins until penetration ends.... That can be 5-6 hours sometimes. I like to fall asleep that way after we have sex and he doesn't mind at all. wooo Hooo!

Interesting question, Lanse Long, but probably one that will get all sorts of answers. It does depend on the time you have. Ever heard of a 'quickie' ? It might also depend on how long you can keep your stamina for, and also how long you can keep an erection. Then there's the before and the after... all the foreplay, the afterplay, so what are you counting as sexual intercourse?
Anything between 30 minutes and an hour seems like a good time to me, but then again, it depends on how much time you have at your disposal. Sometimes we initiate sex, then have a rest, then start again etc... it could go on all morning, or all afternoon, or all evening, or all night...
I'm thinking that the average length of a porn clip is probably calculated for what it would take the average man to masturbate (from start to ejaculation). In this day and age, because of ease of storage and comfort of your own computer usage, I'd say it's very easy to speed that time up, or to be lazy about it, or flip from one video clip to another... which maybe will get you off more easily, or quicker, depending on your fantasies of the moment.

Until we're done, really. I realize that's a weasel answer, but it's the truth. Once we both felt like just getting it done, and it took less than a minute. Another time, we prolonged it for a couple of hours.
That said, nearly every time I have sex, it isn't "us doing one thing". We do something for a few minutes, then switch positions and/or activities. So even if we have sex for several hours, it's not like I'm just pumping my cock in and out of his ass for that time. That'll be mixed in with heavy petting or manual or oral or whatever.
