Would you date a fat person?

If you are commercially extremely good looking you are probably a dickhead and I would probably hit you before I hit on you. I am not saying I agree that you are mental. But I am saying you definitely need to get your priorities straight

Who wants to have straight priorities when one's gay???

Of course it would depend on just how big they are but I would.
I'm no waif myself at 5'11" and 14.5 stone, all beer and lack of exercise. (I just call it the rugby build).

princealbertofb's diet looks good, a bit like the cabbage soup diet my father was on, he lost 2 stone on it but had the worst wind ever:eek: .

I would try anything to lose a little weight as it's not good for the heart as my father descoverd after two heart attacks but my big problem is the booze. I drink 2-3 nights a week, not going out and socialising would just bore me so I try to drink lower calorie alcohol like wine and spirits as apose to beer or lager.
I started cycling again a few weeks ago so with a bit of luck the excess tyre around the waist should start to shrink.
Drinking 2 or 3 times a week aint too bad.Cycling is a good way to keep trim and it gets ya to where ya wanna go. I find running is the best way to keep trim. You don''t have to do it every dayWhew .Three times a week for half an hour and the weight will fly off ya.Eating healthily at the same time, obviously, will be important to slimming down and staying slim.
Gotta be honest.I am very shallow,I guess,Coz I do think being overweight is not attractive. If the guy was''nt obese and really nice, just a bit chubby,I guess I''d give him a try.I really have''nt had the experience to say, anyway.
Not yet had a chance to be so picky.Sigh!!(I edited this coz I was a bit negative and did''nt give enough thought to question).

Yes, I would. While I have to admit I don't find an instant physical attration to fat people once I get to know someone then their personality comes in to play much more. I think for a long term relationship that is much more important.

Yes I would. Everyone needs love. I myself was fat, in high school I weighed 260. In fact my first guy was fat.

Just spent a few minutes reading through the entire thread....wow there are some views there!

Common thing that seems to come up is 'depends how fat' - so you weigh and measure your dates? Sounds more like a way of saying yes but meaning no!

There was a loud audible scream when I spotted the diet being posted - is there any need for that in such a thread???? If someone posted asking for opinion on skin colour would you post details of how to change your skin colour? If they posted about dating someone short would you post a link to a rack to stretch them???

I also noticed that *some* people seem to equate fat people with being smelly, lazy, greedy etc. This is not the case, anyone can be any or all of these things without being fat. Would these same people still be interested in dating the most attractive man on the planet if he smelled like a sock that had been worn for 6 months?

Would I date a fat guy? Why yes I would - an overall great personality and kind nature are far more important than weight.

I have in the past been very fat, and also have been very thin - now I am in between. Never had any problems getting a guy at any of those stages

I like people to have a bit of extra weight. Not in an unhealthy way, but I think beer bellies can be attractive. I much prefer it to muscles. Muscles make me think of arrogance and tough people. I like a big softy Smile

i dont really mind a bit of weight on a person as i think their personality is more important.

on the other hand, i think that a persons stature shows alot about their personality, if he lets himself get to the point of being "fat" then he obviously doesnt have alot of self respect as he is damging his body, whereas a thinner or more muscular person obviously cares about himself and this, i think, would be reflected in the way he treats others.
