I don't often tell people the whole story - unless of the course the muppets ASK me - because it usually looks like I'm fishing for pity.

Never, ever the case - I just think its nicer, and fairer, if people have a well-rounded idea of what coming out can be like. There are two sides to every coin, and for every Mother who throws her arms round her son and declares she loves him no less now than she did before, there will be a Mother who pushes her son out the front door shouting "Fuck off and sleep with your gayboys, you sicko!".

I was just unlucky, and, perhaps, slightly clumsy in my methods.

Alot of the guys I know have had a bad reaction to be fair. Mainly the ones form a fixed family, eg mum dad, nan gramps, loads of aunties uncles etc etc. :frown:

Still Gay, it's remarkable to see somebody of your age having been able to deal with the negatives and turn out so balanced as a result - I'd give you a PROPER hug if I were wherever you are right now, as I'm SERIOUSLY impressed :biggrin:.

Well, I've only told one person in real life that I am bisexual. I was on AIM with him and we were talking. Then I was like "can I tell you something?" and he said "of course" and then I let it out. That I like a guy at our school a lot. He replied with "Yeah, I sort of thought you were gay, actually :tongue:" See, he came out when he was in seventh grade that he was gay, s he said "it was his gaydar" :tongue: Yeah, now I can talk to him about it, so, yeah, it makes me feel good to have somebody in real life that I can talk about it with.

Yeah, I wish that I could tell more people, but every time I try, well, I lose the guts almost as instantly.
