Yes Love does exist , everyone is slightly different , but to add to Mattys indicators above the following can be added to the list
1. When you speak to them , or ring them you get butterflies in your stomach
2. You can " mentally connect" and think the same things without even speaking
3. You would if it came to it give your life for them if you thought it was the only way to save theirs
4. You think of what it is that will make them happy , because if they are happy then so are you
5. You dont have to talk to them all the time , just happy and content with being in their company
6. When you aren't together all you can think about is the next time you will see them or talk to them, but quite happy to have your own identity too
7. Sex is not just sex , it has a whole new meaning , you are sharing the love you have for them and you " make love"
8. Their faults you learn to love too as part of that person
9. The bond you have is on a level of love comparable to the love you have for you parents/siblings etc , but not the same , different
10. You feel that they are your soul mate , they "get you" and understand everything about you
The feelings of the above may feel stronger at the beginning of a relationship , it then goes onto a deeper level , and if you move in together you then do what couples do
e.g put up shelves
argue about who left the toilet seat up or peed on the floor , whos turn it is to take the trash out , all that domestic stuff lol
