Also, most guys get tested for HIV, but hardly ever for Hepatitis,
Non-Hepatitis, Herpes, HPV and bunch of other bugs that could be transmitted. Some people will never develop any of these but will carry them and transmit them; and they could be fatal for others.
And you can get a few of these without ever having sex and then transmit them.
Unfortunately, sex has gotten a lot more complicated and risky than a century ago. But then again, we now have antibiotics and those days people died painful quick deaths from syphilis, Gonorhea or clams. So, more bugs, but a few more weapons against them, but do you want to take expensive pills for the rest of your life?
