Effeminate gays don't bother me much at all. If they're happy, I'm happy for them.
As a gay male in society, it really is hypocritical to be prejudice against XYZ when gays in general are one of the most discriminated groups of people in the world.
However, I probably won't be able to hold a good relationship with effeminate gays. My attraction level for the effeminates is usually low.

At one point in my life, I was extremely homophobic. I would not be caught dead with a feminine guy. Growing up in Brooklyn as a Black/Italian/Puerto Rican, it was always taboo. I was always expected to be a lady's man and not hang with "fags" as they would say. I would hate to hear that word with a passion!! But I was totally in the closet, and I would feel so bad when I heard feminine guys get assaulted verbally. I wanted to speak up, but the word's just wouldn't come out of my mouth. Fem guys aren't really my stick when it comes to dating, but I have no problem being seen with them anymore. And I absolutely looooove to be around them now. They have actually helped me become more comfortable with who I really am.

I myself am femine in a lot of ways. You wont' notice it when you first talk to me if Im just bored but get me around friends and you'll know lol. I like girly things sadly; I went to go pick glasses and the ones I wanted were girls without me even knowing it. I like a lot of "girl" music but I do like rock and other genres. Im feminine I guess but Im also not in your face with it I guess going over the top as some guys do

I like masculine men, but slightly effiminate cuties also turn me on. You know, those guys who could pass for overdelicate straight guys with some effort. I know a few twinks like that who are stunning,
I'm masculine myself, and I really never wanted to be any different in the slightest. I don't like girly things, my wardrobe is all black and gray, my fashion sense sucks, I listen to manly music (rock/metal/post-rock, but also classical and soundtracks, which should be unisex I suppose), I practicie sports like basketball and muay thai. (but I suck on every one of them)... the list goes on.
Non-straight traits worth of notice:
- While I do like driving, I'm a terrible driver, and my direction sense is worse than of the average girl. I don't care about cars either.
- Don't really follow sports, though I do have some notion. I'll rarely ever watch sports on TV.

I don't mind effiminate guys aslong as they're not too over the top. I'm like with everyone though, I can't be friends with somebody who acts too over the top about everything whether they're a girl or a boy.
But just average effiminate guys are Ok with me and I wouldn't rule out dating any one because of that as I like to judge for myself rather than stereotype people.

I have no problem with the effeminate gays... I simply don't find it attractive behavior.

I personally am attracted to more masculine men but there's no reason for masculine gays to have prejudices against the more feminine. I've heard some say they give gay people a bad name by promoting stereotypes but why can't everyone quite worrying about other people's actions? We are all gay TOGETHER and theres no point in making any of our own community into the enemy, you know?
