Recently I've been going to the movies heaps.
Rise of the Guardians - Excellent movie. Beautiful animation, great story and characters. Dreamworks have a winner with this one. 9/10 Skyfall - Eh, not impressed. Very sexist undertones, not great action scenes and barely even a decent spy movie. I've never understood the appeal of Bond films. 5/10 Pitch Perfect - Really didn't expect I would enjoy this so much. This isn't some sort of Glee type film where school choir is taken seriously, but a hilarious unexpected comedy. I already want to see it again. It's like Mean Girls with accapella. 9/10

A dying 15-year-old boy draws stories of an invincible superhero as he struggles with his mortality. Fantastic movie, sad yet inspiring. |
