Silent movies usually aren't my cup of tea but wow! So innovative and ahead of its time in very mindblowing ways. Maybe I should actually give these movies a chance more often. At least this one and Nosferatu were good o:
"We Were Here"- A beautiful documentary. Every LGBT person needs to watch this; Older people like myself, to remember where we have been, and the younger people to learn from where we have come.
That was terrifying to watch. I love Roman Polanski. I can't tell whether I like it better than Psycho or not. Now I'm frightened of everything. I'm scared I'm going to turn into someone like Carol because that really sounds like something I'd be stupid enough to do ;_;
Room 237 - its about stanley kubrick and his film "the shining" and how he put loads of hidden or subliminal msgs in the film, relating to the moonlanding, persecution of native American Indians and the genocide and the number 7 amongst over things, very interesting. (A study of the shining in seven parts, a film made by a bored genius.
