I like Ben Stiller, but he seems to go "off the mark" sometimes, and this was one of those times.
The fake "movie previews" were better than the movie itself.

Thought I was watching a revision of LOTR!!!
Its pretty much identical to LOTR.

Well given it's a prequel , based on a book, which was also a prequel to the orginal lotr books...

"Hitchcock"- A very good movie. Excellent portrayal by Anthony Hopkins, unrecognizable in the title role. Helen Mirren (One of my favorite actresses) plays his wife brilliantly as well.

Tried watching the miniseries of Stephen King's "IT" the other night


Got through about a half hour of it before I remembered just how wretched and botched an adaptation this piece of rubbish was. King's book is wonderful and epic....and this miniseries took everything that was great about the book and shat all over it.

Miniseries? Are you thinking same one as me with Tim curry as the clown, which is a film, though have a feeling it same one, just came to uk as film.

That film haunted me as a child, me and my sister watched "it" (lol) about 15000 times, it was epic when your 4ft tall, though i seen bits recently and found it pretty ridiculous, and ive heard the book is something special, cant be as epic as "the stand" though, i even quite liked the crap miniseries of that, but dont really do king anymore

I just watched Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.

Wow okay, well that was the most disturbing movie ever. Baby Jane may just be the most... wrong, grotesque, macabre, unsettling character in movie history.

but oh my god Elvira is so stupid!, the problem that movie had was how frustrating some scenes were to watch, but maybe that's part of the drama.
